These stunning wings came from an large, ethically sourced Cicada.
They have been pressed and preserved, and are coated with a durable, glass-like finish, which makes them look like stained glass windows.

Mother natures artistry shines here with a beautifully patterned palette of neutral colours, and the softest hue of sky blue .
To compliment this colour I have set the tops with natural Apatite gemstones, set in an Elvish style design of solid sterling silver. The hooks are also sterling silver.

I have added the tiniest touches of micro shimmer to the base of the wings; just enough to catch the light and add some subtle Sprite sparkle.
