Introducing 'The Wings of Queen Florentine, the Flower Fairy Queen''

This whimsical statement piece started with a pair of gorgeous wings from a large, ethically sourced Moth.
These majestic wings deserved a regal setting, so they are now the Wings of A Flower Fairy Queen named Florentine.

The first thing I noticed were the crescent moon 'windows' in the wing: (these moon shapes are transparent) and the eyes on the wing tips, so I wanted this to be a very special, enchanted creation.

I have added touches of Fairy magic with blush coloured micro shimmer and twinkling pink Swarovski crystals to bring out the soft pinks in the wings.
I then coated them durably on both sides for a long lasting , glass-like finish.

This flower queen has been set with a pink bloom, and the pink and floral theme continues with more sparkling crystals and flowers, all set onto a genuine rosey copper necklace.

Queen Florentine is a large piece, with a wing span of 12cm, yet she still looks delicate due to her soft pastel tones.
