This ethereal creation was inspired by enchanted forests and fairy gardens, and features the wings of all ethically sourced butterflies.

I have a box of dozens of odd wings and felt it was time to honour some of these beauties.
No big embellishment this time, just letting Mother Nature's artistry shine.

I have coated and sealed these nine wings. ( I started with ten, but there's always that one that wont cooperate!)
They are now all durably preserved for longevity and each is set onto a stainless steel bar and loop, with a tiny coloured glass bead on each to subtly compliment each wing.

I have arranged and set them in an overlapping position for a cascade of pattern and colour, that freely moves and sways.
The chain is a quality vintage, fancy curb link 50cm chain. It can be fastened at any link, as this piece looks beautiful worn longer, or shorter.
