Introducing The Key to Happiness.

This enchanting creation started with the wings from a pretty Calypso Butterfly.

The butterfly was ethically sourced (ie: deceased when found) , and is now honoured as this very special necklace.

Inspired by the summery wing colours,  I wanted to create a light , happy piece with this butterfly. 🦋💛

I coated the wings on both sides for wearability and durability, and created a centrepiece using a beautiful heart shaped stainless steel key.

I was lucky enough to find the perfect sized heart shaped natural onyx gemstone to set into it, and it completes the key beautifully.

I then set these delightful yellow and white wings onto the key, to symbolise being 'carriedbaway' , 'light' or 'uplifted' ,  creating this "Key to Happiness"

So I hope she goes to spmeone that could benefit from this positive piece.

The wingspan is 7.5cm and the butterfly is hanging on a 45cm stainless steel chain.
