I wish I saw you fly right by.
You couldn't be saved when you were found,
as ants consumed you on the ground.
I'm sad I never saw your face,
but sparkling jewels now take its place.
Your broken body was quite a mess,
but you now live on as a Baroness.

I pressed and preserved these dragonfly wings, and added holographic flakes to the tips for prism of colour.

The body is part of a very ornate antique piece that I have tweaked to create an eye catching centrepiece.
It is crafted from pewter and enamel, and set with dazzling lilac, vintage czech crystals that reflect rainbow prisms.

This now represents the Baroness... wearing her sparkling three crystal tiara atop her crystal filigree head.
The dangling 'tail body' is solid sterling silver with natural Amethyst, and an Iolite teardrop.
