This dreamy little creation started with a vintage, solid sterling silver orb locket that I repaired and upcycled. 🔮

Its beautiful.open filigree work made it the perfect place to create this scene...so it now protects a precious little fairy named Seraphine.

She is sleeping peacefully under a glowing crystal garden, curled up in a pretty pink flower surrounded by sparkling greenery.

Seraphine is crafted from cast pewter, and her wings are from an ethically sourced bee. (The bee was deceased when found) 🐝🩷

I have tipped the wings with fairy dust sparkle so they catch the light as it hits them.  🔮 ✨️ Speaking of light... The orb is set with natural crystal points that light up an intense fuschia...  giving a gorgeous glow. The light is a micro light, installed at the top of the orb. It also has an external battery pack so the tiny battery can be replaced. The battery pack is wrapped in sterling silver so it looks like the 'lid' of the dome.

Sterling silver chain and a solid sterling bail are attached so this creation can easily hang from any chain.

Seraphine's Slumber is a bespoke creation and will delight all those who see her. Pictures do not do this little world any justice... this is much more enchanting in person.
