This magnicent Queen started with a large, ethically sourced cicada that was found with only half a body.
I have made her whole again by setting a beautiful smokey quartz point set with brass filigree.
Hand clay scultping fuses the two elements together so that this looks like she was born this way.

I have coated her wings durably on both sides, aswell as her torso, and set golden crescent moons on her wing tips and on her back...along with a celestial star.. . representing her place in the cosmos.
Of course she not a queen without a crown, and her ornate crown is sterling silver coated in 18ct gold...bordered with little shimmering crystals. 👑
To keep her strong and secure she is mounted onto an open oval to allow the light to shine through..it is crafted from brass and bronze.
Actually, all of her elements capture the light beautifully, and you will find that shes much more beautiful in person. Pictures never do these pieces justice.
The long orb chain can be doubled tomwear her at shorter length and is made from aged brass.
Queen Cordelia is a large cicada with a wingspan of 11cm. Definately a statement piece that will be a conversation starter wherever she goes.
