This whimsical creation looks like something straight out of a Fairytale.

It started with the butterfly I shared in my last post.
I was inspired by her beautiful colours and have honoured her by turning her into a princess.

I have preserved her wings in a durable glass-like coating, and given her a jewelled body using large czech glass crystals that have been set into brass.
There is a tear shaped dangle crafted from brass and copper, and Princess touches have been added by giving her pretty Tiara style copper antennae.

  Mariposa is suspended from a beautifully detailed chain fit for a Princess;  this incorporates vintage crystals and enamelled flowers. The chain metals are copper and bronze and the length is adjustable up to 50cm.
The wingspan is 7.5cm.
