Introducing J'adore Araignée.

French for 'I love Spiders.

This creation started with a stunning redback spider specimen. The spider was deceased when foud, and I have honoured her with this setting.

I have set and mounted her onto a white enamelled background to look as though she is still living.

She stands over her little heart shaped web, and is guarding her treasure. This is a genuine red garnet set into a floral sterling silver surround. 

The reback is coated in multiple layers of durable, hard, glass-like resin that protects and preserves the spider.

Her ornate framed setting is a vintage brooch that has been repurposed. It is now a pendant, hanging from a blackened stainless steel necklet that has adjusting links at the back.

J'adore Araignée is a beautiful, creation that oozes mystique and charm.
