This delightful scene was inspired by World Autism Day.
As soon as I saw those stunning metallic violet/blue wings I just knew what I wanted to create with them.

I have set the wings onto a cast sterling silver fairy named 'Hope'.
She is now poised on her adorable colourful garden of genuine dried pressed flowers and greenery which shimmers and sparkles .
Her colour changing wings are accentuated by her magical fairy dust which floats around her.

The story in this scene is that Hope had been tending to a neglected garden that she found; she watered it, and sprinkled it with her fairy dust hoping it would grow.

She returned the next day to water the garden when she saw that everything was blossoming , and noticed a rare crystal growing amongst the flowers.
As you can see by her gushing expression, she is very taken with what she has found.
(The crystal is rich pink Swarovski crystal).
The message in this  is when you hace hope, mauve happens

This sweet scene is set onto a vintage pewter and silver pendant base that also has a brooch fitting at the back.  This is hanging from a 50cm sterling silver chain .
