This is a pair of cicada hind wings (the small wing under the main outer one)
As with all of my insect creations these were ethically sourved from a cicada that lived its natural life cycle.

I have added 24 ct gold to the edges, and some extra shimmer for fairy magic. 💫💫💫
I have coated them durably on both sides for a strong, glass-like finish .
The tops are crowned with opal triplets. These are set in 18ct gold plated sterling silver, as are the hooks. Settings are hypoallergenic.  ❤
The wings themselves are just under 3cm long. The perfect size for fairies of all ages.
