This beautiful, botanical inspired design, started with the wings of an ethically sourced cicada.
I pressed and preserved the wings, some tiny ferns and little blossom flowers to make this creation.🌿🌸
I used these botanical elements on each wing, so it has its very own garden. I added extra sparkle to the little pressed blossoms so the light catches them beautifully.

The detailed wings look like stained glass, and have been trimmed with flakes of 24ct gold. A tiny sprinkle of holographic shimmer has also been added for an extra touch of ethereal enchantment.

The finishing touch is a colour changing Swarovski crystal set at top of each wing and I have set them onto sterling silver fittings and hooks.
