These colours remind me of something exotic and oriental 😍
... I actually think they look like the kind of fans a beautiful Geisha would hold, so I set them to hang on an angle to enhance the 'fan' feel.

The wings are their natural coral and black colour, and they are the ethically sourced hind wings of a large goliath insect that a friend found and sent to me. (Its amazing what I receive in the mail ❤)

I gave them the most delicate sprinkle of micro shimmer to catch the light, and I added some lashings of 24 carat gold to the tops and bottoms. 💫💫
I also added some black reflective shimmer to the base to highlight the natural black of the wing. 🖤
To crown these beauties I have added an opal triplet set in 18ct gold plated sterling silver. The hooks are also crafted from the same.
