These delightful Ear-Wings have just been completed and are available to purchase.
I started with a gorgeous pair of ethically sourced butterfly wings. The colour is so unique; a split tone of cloudy white with sunset tones. It's not captured in the pictures but that crimson colour changes from oranges to coral pinks in different lights. Just like a sunset.
The Wings have had holographic fairy sparkle added to them and are durably coated on both sides with a glass-like finish.
I have set the wings with a Fairy garden of flowers. The beautiful czech crystal, aurora Borealis Crystal, and enamel flowers are all repurposed from vintage jewellery.
The Ear wings are set in solid sterling silver hooks.
