This totally enchanting creation started when I came across a beautiful vintage piece with a large jewel setting. Its an Aurora Rivoli crystal with stunning , magical colour changes. 😍🌈 The surround looks like a blazing sunflower, so I knew exactly what I wnated to make.... A Fairy Sorceress!

I restored the copper setting around the 'sorcery' crystal and then set it onto four natural ciciada wings to create my fairy. (The wings were ethically sourced from cicadas that had already lived their natural life cycle)
The fairy wings have been tipped with touches of holographic flakes for more colour changing magic, and coated on both sides with a durable glass-like coating.To compliment the copper setting I have added copper dangles that each have a fuchsia pink baroque pearl on the end.A copper hanging bail has been added, and this beautiful Sorceress hangs from a matching solid copper chain.
